introduction to Broseph.

Salutations.

It's Emilee here. I have been beckoned by my friends to get this show on the road... and since I have officially named my vague to-do list for the next few days "Operation Catch Up Week Underway {before the 8th}" I am tackling this task that has been on my radar for weeks.

Chloe is her name.

This is us. Chloe to the left, I'm on the right. We love our matching sweatshirts {which you have yet to hear about}! Also to be noted: this picture was taken on New Year's Eve. :)

Yada, yada, yada, she is a really good friend. You've heard that in these last few posts over and over, because IT'S TRUE! All these ladies, and specifically speaking about Chloe today, are precious ladies and amazing friends. I have lived through seasons when I didn't have godly, consistent friends like them. I know that I can perservere, but in this season + in this area of my life I'm glad I don't have to! :)

Chloe has numerous nicknames. Chizzy, CJ, Broseph, that cool kid-- all sorts. So, if you hear any one of these names you know who we are speaking of. :)

Her heart is so kind. She is quick to forgive, quick to help, quick to listen. When I was the new girl at church, Chloe was the first girl my age to make me feel welcome. Although we didn't become good friends until many months later, I will never forget her initial kindness. We love to be silly together. Like me, she is very quiet at first. I introduced her to Pinterest {I'm a terrible monster-creator}. The very night the above picture was taken we had a "HopeFULLY Romantic New Year's Eve Sleepover Extravaganza!" We prayed, talked, giggled, made lists, wrote, pinned, read, walked, and watched a movie--and we got home from our other New Year's Eve party at 11:30ish. Needless to say, we stayed up all night getting our second wind at 5AM leading to another hour long chat session. With all of this said, her companionship isn't taken for granted. We are on a BibleQuiz team together {Mariah is as well}. She is a hard worker and she doesn't realize at times how wonderful of one she actually is!

So many things to say...

Chloe has a heart of gold. We share so many memories together.
She has two sisters--one older, one younger. I talk to her daily and if I don't something just doesn't feel right. Broseph is such a good encourager. When I'm feeling down, she strictly tells me what's up and then makes me laugh. :) She reminds us of truth when our minds are clouded.  Like I said above, there are SO MANY things to say about Chloe that I feel pressured to share at once.
But, I will be back and these blogs weren't to share alot of details, but to give you a glimpse of the girls behind the stories + musings.
Aren't they lovely?

So, dear Chloe, thank-you for being the sweet friend that you are. You are amazing, girl. I can depend on you and I pray you know the same about me.  I look forward to what God is going to do in our continued years of friendship! You rock, girlfriend. Keep shinin'! I love ya.

^^enjoying my first cup of coffee in 2013 and Chizzy enjoying her first proper cup EVER!

Meet Audrey

I take it that you all have most likely already read what we are doing here- introducing each other! So  I am the one who is going to introduce Audrey to you. She is a very good friend of mine! Well, I suppose that probably goes without saying! All of us are obviously very good friends, but that is one of the things you should know about her. She is good friend, and I will expound on that later! She is also quite the runner! She is the one who got me into running too, by getting me to join cross country. We both love it, and that may come out in our stories sometimes, so just giving you the heads up! I promise that we will not attempt to convert  any of you, so don't worry about that. :) She is very supportive at all times. She listens when ever I have a problem, and she laughs with me whenever I need to tell a funny story! Audrey has a fun personality, but she is also a wise young lady who often has good things to share with me about our faith in The Lord Jesus! We are both story writing fanatics, and have about 50 going at one time (many of which will never be finished)! All of these girls on here have a beautiful heart, and I hope you will enjoy them as much as always do! ;)

I hereby welcome myself to the wonderful world of technology....

Hello world! Audrey here! This is the first time I've ever done something like this, so please bear with me!
Emilee sent us an email and said that we should introduce each other, so I'll introduce her. Oh boy, this should be good. :)
I guess I should start by saying that after only knowing her for a few years, I consider her one of my closest friends and someone I can truly trust! Her faith and knowledge of the Bible never cease to amaze me. I can't imagine where I would be without her encouragement!
She is homeschooled and is studying Greek. I mean, how cool is that?! She tried to teach me the alphabet once but I never really got it. (I still have the notes, don't worry!)
And coffee. Emilee is rarely seen without her coffee! She and one of the ladies in our church took me to Starbucks for the first time last spring, and I've spent way too much money there since! (Thanks for sharing the obsession, Emilee!)
Her Pinterest "mini quote book" got so big that it wasn't mini anymore and she had to make a new one! I don't know why I added that, I just found it funny! :)
Well, I could ramble on for hours, but I can't think of anything else important that you might want to hear!
Bye!
Audrey

Greetings!

Greetings to all of you on this blog-o-sphere! My name is Emilee. First posts always are awkward it seems, but oh! The places we'll go!

Here I am, introducing us idiosyncratic darlings {I'm still getting used to writing that}!

So, just like I didn't know what most of those words in our title meant, I bet you don't know all of them either... so, here's a translation of "Laconic {or not} tale's + introspection's of blooming, idiosyncratic darlings."

Short {or not} stories + musings of teenage, peculiar treasures.

We are so excited to be joining one another in this journey of blogging--I have my own blog {link in my profile}, but this is the first time the girls and I have been in on one together. We either are new to the whole short story writing {like me} or we have notebooks full from when we were little {you know who you are}... It is a wonderful journey. It will give a glimpse into our passions and dreams...
It will also give you glimpse into our peculiarity, our hopeFULLY romanticisms, our spaghetti brains, and the loveliness of intimate relationship with Christ! If'n you dare to come back. ;)

At the risk of sharing too much information off the bat, I am logging off. We will be back soon, don't worry. The girls and I will be introducing all of us individually and we will dive in with fiction, non-fiction, and anything our heart so desires before you know it! May you be blessed, may God do more than we can imagine in every post, may He be glorified, and may YOU enjoy yourself! :)

Whether it's from the kitchen counter... the front porch swing... a bedroom floor... we look forward to giving you glimpses into worlds that we often discover in reading. Writing is such a powerful thing.
We can't wait to share! Now, I am really leaving.

Welcome! Make yourself at home--get the popcorn ready!

I got treasure up in heaven; I got dirt all over me,
Emilee C.
